What I do

Quality leadership from the first design conversation to the final release decision.

01

Test strategy and release readiness

End-to-end strategy and sign-off criteria for complex, multi-team platforms.

02

Coverage from design, before code

Turning incomplete requirements and design documents into risk-based coverage, and challenging designs before defects reach execution.

03

Integration, UAT and performance

Planning cycles across vendors, markets and environments, and bringing performance into scope when it was missing.

04

Building QA teams

Hiring, onboarding and leading QA teams, including distributed and client-side teams, with quality management systems that squads actually adopt.

Would you ship it?

Every release call I make rests on evidence. Toggle the signals and watch the gate decide.

Critical user journeys covered by regressionThe paths customers rely on have current evidence.
No open Sev-1 or Sev-2 defectsRelease-blocking defects are resolved or explicitly accepted.
Performance baseline met under production-like loadCapacity and response times match the agreed baseline.
Integration and UAT signed off by the businessConnected systems and business outcomes are accepted.
Rollback plan testedRecovery is proven, not just documented.
Monitoring and alerts in placeThe team can see and act on problems after release.
RELEASE DECISIONNO-GO

Blocking: Rollback plan tested · Monitoring and alerts in place

Risk-based, not checkbox-based: the blockers change with the release.

Five domains, one discipline

The context changed. The habit stayed: make quality visible, measurable and shared.

  • Lead the QA team at the Egypt Delivery Centre across several client projects, and lead the client's own QA team on the current engagement.
  • Own end-to-end quality strategy for a tier-1 telecom client's always-on cloud platform, in a phased multi-market rollout.
  • Design coverage for a multitenant, event-driven microservices architecture, building scope from design documents.
  • Brought performance testing into scope and own it end to end with JMeter and Datadog.
  • Designed a 3-day QA internship bootcamp for 12 interns.

GenAI, with the judgment kept human

Completed the ISTQB Testing with Generative AI course with ISTQB President Dr. Klaudia Dussa-Zieger, and Microsoft's course on generative AI and agents.

WHERE IT EARNS ITS PLACE
“Drafting and reviewing test design, analysing results, and speeding up the repetitive parts of the test lifecycle.”
GUARDRAILS I HOLD TO
  1. 01Every AI-generated test or finding gets evaluated before it counts.
  2. 02Risks are named and controlled, not assumed away.
  3. 03A person still makes the release call.
